         ANCHORSEAL GALLON

ANCHORSEAL End Sealer is a wax emulsion sealer designed to prevent up to 90% or more of end checking (drying splits) in freshly sawn logs, lumber, turning blanks, and other exposed wood end and face grain. Due to differences in wood species and individuals usage method., results are not guaranteed.

Apply liberally with a brush to all end cuts "to the drip". Apply as mush as the end grain will hold. If none drips off, it is probably too little. If a lot drips off, it's to much

The sooner you apply Anchorseal after exposing the end grain (and face grain of turnings and carvings), the more effective the coating will be. This sealer is very slippery -- DO NOT apply to walking surfaces.
